1. Postal Worker Day
a. Say thank you to the hard-working people who get our mail and packages from point A to B.

2. World U.F.O. Day
a. Push to find the truth of unidentified flying objects visiting our planet; or just watch a movie about aliens.

3. Eat Beans Day
a. Beans are healthy and nutritious. Plus, there is also that fun song, “Beans beans, the musical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot!”

4. Country Music Day
a. Listen to some songs with twang and wear some matching hats and boots.

5. Bikini Day
a. In 1946 the first bikini was modeled on this day. Celebrate the 2-piece bathing suit

6. Kissing Day
a. Go ahead and swap some spit today (make sure its consensual and you have a breath mint handy)

7. Forgiveness Day
a. Put aside that grudge and clear your soul. Double points if you ask for forgiveness then also forgive someone

8. Cow Appreciation Day
a. Milk, cheese, leather, and steaks; bovines give us a lot. Thank a cattle farmer today or your local butcher.

9. Fashion Day
a. Celebrate designers, models, and stylists for making us look great. Visit a local clothing store today then treat yourself to some self care at the salon.

10. Pina Colada Day
a. 6 ounces white rum + 6 ounces cream of coconut + 6 ounces pineapple juice + 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks + 4 cups ice + 4 ounces golden or añejo rum (optional) + then you can garnish with pineapple leaves or wedges.

11. Motorcycle Day
a. Today is about you and your hog. Take a ride, go support our local motorcycle dealers & clubs, and give a biker a hug (ask permission first).

12. Pecan Pie Day
a. Pecan pie was first created by French settlers in New Orleans. There are approximately 75-80 pecans in the average pie

13. Barbershop Music Appreciation Day
a. Did you sing that? You should have. Find some harmony in your day with 3 of your friends

14. Nude Day
a. Appreciate the beauty of the human body, skinny dip, suntan in an appropriate place, walk around the house in your birthday suit; just don’t show up to you Monday morning board meeting in the buff.

15. Give Something Away Day
a. Generosity is rewarding. Plus, if you are a pack rat today may be the day to purge.

16. Snake Day
a. The fear of snakes is called ophidiophobia. Snakes are on every continent, except Antarctica. There are over 3,400 species of snakes that you can learn about today so maybe you won’t be so scared of some of them.

17. Peach Ice Cream Day
a. Peaces are one of the best summer flavours. Enjoy it in an ice cream cone, milkshake, or directly off the spoon.

18. Listening Day
a. Take time to hear the sounds that are around us and meditate on the things we don’t listen to every day. If you spend a lot of time talking over people, today is a great time to let others speak; you may learn something.

19. Stick Out Your Tongue Day
a. Inject some fun and humour into your day. Pull out your camera and send picture of your tongue to someone and wish them a ‘Happy Stick Out Your Tongue Day”, if you’re lucky, you will get a reply.

20. Lollipop Day
a. I call them suckers, enjoy a candy on a stick today.

21. Be Somone Day
a. Today is all about making a difference in the life of a vulnerable child. Learn the signs to identify potential child abuse and neglect.

22. Ratcatcher’s Day
a. Today commemorates the Pied Piper of Hamelin. According to folklore he did something about the rat problem in Germany. Thank your local exterminator, it’s a tough job.

23. Picnic Table Day
a. Today, enjoy a meal outdoors. Many food trucks and restaurants have picnic tables for their customers.

24. Cousins Day
a. Today is also Tequila Day; maybe you can celebrate with one of your aunt and uncle’s kids?

25. System Administrators Appreciation Day
a. Let’s thank the hard-working guys and gals that assure our computers, printers, and servers are working and in good condition.

26. Day of the Cowboy & Cowgirl
a. Most cowboys and cowgirls were good and honest people. They lived by the following code of conduct: Live each day with honesty and courage. Take pride in your work. Always do your best. Stay curious. Study hard and learn all you can. Do what must be done and finish what you start. Be tough, but fair. When you make a promise, keep it. Be clean in thought, word, deed, and dress. Practice tolerance and understanding of others. Be willing to stand up for what is right. Be an excellent steward of the land and its animals

27. Take Your Plants for a Walk Day
a. I don’t have a green thumb, apparently your houseplants will grow faster, greener, and lusher when taking them outside for a walk in the warm sunshine.

28. Milk Chocolate Day
a. Today is a day for milk chocolate, not chocolate milk day. Today savour instead of consuming milk chocolate.

29. Tiger Day
a. Tigers are the largest cat on the planet. Celebrate by wearing a black and orange pattern.

30. Paperback Book Day
a. Curl up with a real book. Visit a local bookstore, library, or dust off that paperback you have been meaning to get to.

31. Lifeguard Appreciation Day
