We are coming into a season of movement.
A-Frame signs are the tool that moves peoples desires towards your products and services.
Students head back to school. Families return to routines. Commuters reclaim their usual routes. And customers start thinking about fall menus, seasonal services, new classes and everything they need before winter arrives. That makes the end of summer to the point when the first snowflake falls a strategic time to put an A-frame sign to work in front of your business.
An A-frame—or sandwich board—is more than a sign. It’s a salesperson perched outside your business, passively greeting every person who passes. Compose your offer into a unique phrase, and your brand may go viral, too.
It can announce a fall special, promote a daily offer, point customers toward your entrance or simply remind the neighbourhood that you’re there. Unlike online advertising, there’s no bidding, scrolling or algorithm standing between you and your audience; plus, once you own the hardware, there’s no charge for every impression.
The best A-frame signs don’t try to tell your entire life story. They communicate one clear message and give people one simple reason to act:
“Fall flavours are here.”
“Now booking autumn cleanups.”
“Back-to-school special this week.”
Keep the wording short. Make the type large. Use strong contrast. If someone can understand it while walking past with coffee in one hand and a phone in the other, you’ve done it right.
Maybe your restaurant sign says:
YOUR STOMACH CALLED
It wants today’s lunch special.
Come in and see why.
September brings people back to the street. Your business can be there to meet them.
Our advice is to put your best message out front. Your sign may not be able to smile, tell a joke or shake a customer’s hand—but give it the right words, and it can still make a very charming introduction.
The AMPLIFY team can set you us with the size of sign that fits your space; from table top to Stadium style. We will also help you AMP-up the text you put on your street signs, let’s chat about yours.
